Mon Mae Kha Nin Adventure provides an ATV excursion through the Buffalo Reservation Center in Baan Mae Kha Nin Nuea to experience old culture and traditions, hill tribe villages and landscapes of farm fields, and the Tung Reng Royal Project. Even though some parts of the route are uphill and downhill, it is still absolutely safe for ATV drivers without much previous driving skill, as well as being safe for beginners too. Here, we do not engage in acrobatic driving styles, rather we enjoy the beauty of nature along the trail and at stops at various viewpoints.
At the beginning of the trail, it might look a little bit adventurous, as of you had to speed up. But, after driving for a little while, the beautiful and refreshing view alongside the road will naturally slow you, and your nerves, down. The route begins along the foot of the mountains and down below is a green landscape of forest and mountains. The first rest stop is at the Buffalo Reservation Center in Baan Mae Kha Nin Nuea, then there is a drive to Tung Reng Royal Project to see agricultural products, particularly cabbage and corn fields. After that, the drive continues to a Hmong village to experience their way of life and appreciate their handmade products. After a further bit of a drive, there is a 360 degree round view lookout where you enjoy the mountainous landscape. Finally, a drive over another mountain arrives at Oob Luang National Park to witness the natural beauty of Tak Ka Tan Cave (Grasshopper Cave). The total driving distance of this trip is 45 kilometers and comprises of approximately 4 hours of enjoyment.
